Most recently, Alec re-staged choreography by Amy McCleary for “Annie” at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.
Alec began directing in college through Wagner’s Completely Student Productions, working on You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and one of his favorite projects, Bat Boy.
Wagner opened the door with many other opportunities. He assistant directed along side Rusty Curcio, Head of Dance, re-conceiving Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe. Alec also spent 2 years with Professor Mickey Tennenbaum in his Directing class, one year as a student, and next as his TA. Alec also took classes in Choreography, Viewpoints, and Script Analysis.
Alec has also worked teaching summer camps to children aged 10-16, holding audition workshops, teaching music and choreography, scene study, and facilitating games + exercises aimed at improving creativity, collaboration, and confidence.
